The Selling Butler is a sole-trader managed resale service run by Gavin for owners who have worthwhile items but do not want the work of selling them one by one.
Why the service exists
Good items are often donated too cheaply or left unused because proper resale takes time. Identifying an exact model, checking condition, researching comparable sales, taking useful photographs and dealing with buyers is a real workload.
The Selling Butler takes on that workload for selected items with genuine resale demand. It is a convenience service, not a promise that every possession is valuable or will sell.
What Gavin handles
- Initial photo review and honest suitability feedback
- A recorded handover for accepted items
- Identification, measurements, condition notes and pricing research
- eBay or Vinted listing and buyer communication
- Packing, tracked dispatch and transaction records
- Evidence of the sold price and the agreed payout
Where the service operates
Collections are arranged across Bearsden, Milngavie, Glasgow’s West End and nearby north-west Glasgow areas. This is a service-area business operating by appointment; there is no public shop or walk-in address.
