- Name, telephone number, email and general service area
- Messages, photographs and information about items
- Collection, agreement, sale and payout records
- Marketplace, delivery and buyer-dispute information where relevant
- Payment details needed to make your seller payout
Why it is used
Information is used to respond to your request, assess and manage items, perform the agreed service, make payments, keep tax and transaction records, prevent fraud and deal with legal claims. Depending on the activity, the lawful basis may be steps toward a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests.
Who may receive it
Relevant information may be shared with marketplaces, couriers, payment providers, professional advisers, insurers and public authorities where necessary. We do not sell customer contact information to marketing lists.
Retention and your rights
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal claims. UK data-protection rights can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Third-party services
WhatsApp, eBay, Vinted, email providers, couriers and payment services operate under their own privacy information. Avoid sending unnecessary identity documents or financial information in an initial enquiry.
