Written terms before anything is listed

Every accepted item should have a clear record.

The website explains the service generally. The item schedule and consignment agreement supplied at handover record the specific goods, agreed pricing approach and seller details.

What the agreement records

  • The accepted item and its known condition
  • The pricing range or authority agreed with you
  • The applicable commission and payout basis
  • The initial selling period
  • Your instructions for unsold goods
  • Any special storage, packaging or return arrangements

What the seller confirms

The seller confirms that they own the goods or have authority to sell them, has disclosed known faults and authenticity concerns, and has not supplied stolen, counterfeit, unsafe or unlawfully obtained property.

Marketplace transactions

The Selling Butler may select eBay, Vinted or another agreed channel according to the item and likely buyer. Buyer returns, disputes, chargebacks or marketplace holds can delay the point at which funds are final and available for payout.

Before signing

Read the full agreement and item schedule. Ask about anything unclear and retain your copy. Website information does not replace the signed terms for a particular handover.
