Unsold does not mean forgotten or donated without permission.
Prices, buyer demand and marketplace decisions can change. The process allows for review, return and dispute handling without pretending every item will sell first time.
If an item has not sold
The initial selling period is normally 60 days. During that period the price and demand may be reviewed. At the end, you can collect the item, agree a revised price, extend the period or authorise donation. Nothing is donated without your approval.
If a buyer returns an item
Where a marketplace or applicable consumer rules require a return or refund, the transaction is not treated as a completed sale. Once the item is received and checked, it may be relisted, returned to you or handled under the written agreement.
If there is a dispute or payment hold
Payout can be delayed while a marketplace investigates a buyer claim, payment reversal or account hold. Relevant listing, message, tracking and condition evidence will be retained where available.
