Should I clean old coins before selling?
No. Cleaning can permanently damage the surface and reduce collector appeal. Leave coins in their existing holders where practical and photograph them as found.
Do you provide formal coin grading?
No. We can research identifiable coins and comparable sales, but we do not present ourselves as a professional numismatic grading service. Specialist authentication or grading may be recommended for appropriate pieces.
Is there a minimum collection value?
Yes. The service is currently for suitable groups of items with an estimated combined resale value above £400. Collections at £400 or less are declined so the time and likely return remain commercially sensible.
